CAIRO workshops bring practical self-defence and movement training directly to your group — at your location or ours, tailored to your people, with no experience required from anyone in the room.

We've worked with running clubs, workplaces, schools, and community groups. The format changes. The standard doesn't.

Sessions run for 50 minutes and are led by a CAIRO coach. We cover practical self-defence skills, body awareness, and movement - delivered in a way that's genuinely useful, immediately applicable, and nothing like what most people expect.

We bring all the equipment. You bring your group.

Every workshop is shaped around the people in it - fitness levels, goals, and what you actually want your group to take away. We find that out before we arrive, so nothing is wasted on the day.

Groups of 7 to 20 people. Venues up to 10 × 5m for a full group. We can run multiple sessions for larger numbers.

Frequently asked questions

  • None at all. Workshops are designed from the ground up for people who have never trained before. We ask about ability levels before the session and adjust accordingly.

  • Pricing is based on group size and location. Get in touch and we'll give you a clear number - no hidden extras.

  • Comfortable workout clothing and sensible shoes. We bring everything else.

  • For a full group of 20, a clear area of roughly 10 × 5m. Smaller groups need less. If you're not sure about your space, send us the details and we'll let you know.

  • Yes - we can run multiple sessions. Get in touch and we'll work out the best format for your group.

For every workshop CAIRO runs, we donate an equivalent session to a partner charity - supporting children with special needs, individuals with disabilities, care home residents, and vulnerable communities across the area.
